My name is Lily Luu
I’m a natural-light portrait photographer, specializing in couples, family, and graduates. I was born and raised in southern Seattle and am currently a medical student. I first became interested in nature photography during grade school, but over the years, my focus has shifted to portraits. There’s something special about capturing people's genuine emotions, and I hope to preserve as many of those moments as possible.

Both ends of the lens
Having been on both sides of the lens—as both a model and a photographer—I understand the jitters that come with posing in front of a real camera for the first time and working with a photographer. (Those feelings are completely valid—this is a new experience for many!)
But because I’ve been in your shoes, I know how to create a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere and capture moments that feel natural, not awkward. I’ll guide you through poses in a way that feels easy and will adjust quickly if something doesn’t feel right. Your comfort around me and my camera is my top priority!
